Special Admission Requirements
Following Offshore Applicants for a Student visa.
Offshore Applicants applying for a student visa holding one of the following passports, willing to study at PCBT MUST provide following documents and information at the time of application for enrolment.

To study VET (Vocational courses such as Business, Cookery, Tiling, Plastering, Graduate Diploma, Construction …) OR a packaged course with English courses (Student Visa (500)- Vocational Education and Training Sector):
- ENGLISH PROFICIENCY:

- Certified copy of the IELTS 5.5 overall (General or Academic)
OR TOEFL iBT 46
OR Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 162
OR PTE 42
OR OET of at least B for each component - OR with ELICOS Offer Letter or CoE or Completion Certificate:
- IELTS with Overall band score 5 if packaged with at least 10 weeks’ ELICOS; or
- IELTS with Overall band score of 4.5 if packaged with at least 20 weeks’ ELICOS; or
- PTE with overall 36-41, if packaged with at least 10 weeks’ ELICOS; or
- PTE with overall 30-35, if packaged with at least 20 weeks’ ELICOS; or
- TOEFL iBT with overall 35-45, if packaged with at least 10 weeks’ ELICOS; or
- TOEFL iBT with overall 32-34, if packaged with at least 20 weeks’ ELICOS; or
- Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) test with overall 154-161, if packaged with at least 10 weeks’ ELICOS; or
- Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) test with overall 147-153, if packaged with at least 20 weeks’ ELICOS.
- Certified copy of the IELTS 5.5 overall (General or Academic)
- OR you, in the 2 years before applying for a Subclass 500 (Student) visa, has successfully completed:
- the requirements for a Senior Secondary Certificate of Education, in a course that was conducted in Australia and in English; or
- a substantial component of a course leading to a qualification from the Australian Qualifications Framework at the Certificate IV level or higher that was conducted in Australia and in English, while the applicant was holding a student visa; or
- an applicant who has successfully completed a minimum of 5 years of study in English undertaken in one or more of the following countries: Australia; Canada; New Zealand; South Africa; the Republic of Ireland; the United Kingdom; the United States of America.
- Provide at least one of the following documents taken in the 2 years before applying for a Subclass 500 student visa:
- FINANCIAL SUPPORT:
- Student or student’s financial sponsor/guarantor to provide the Bank Statement or Bank Loan with the minimum amount of AU$29,000 (single student)-(this excludes minimum deposit) OR parents/spouse of the applicant to provide income statement with minimum $63,000 per year (single student) and $73,000 per year (for student with partner and children).(Relevant information: https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2019L01366 .
- If an applicant to be sponsored financially by a financial sponsor/guarantor, a Declaration Statement by sponsor/s to provide financial support to the applicant (and applicant’s dependent student visa holders if the student is with his/her family)
- Types of acceptable evidence of funds:
- money deposits with a financial institution (banks etc.) or/and
- loan with a financial institution (banks etc.) or/and
- government loan.
- GTE:
- PCBT Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) & Assessment Form to be signed by student and agent (if from an agent) (PCBT (GTE) Genuine Temporary Entrant Checklist & Assessment Form)

Correction in this form: please use latest legislation for financial capacity: https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2019L01366 - Students must write their own GTE statement aligned with the Direction 69 of the Department Home Affairs to address all areas of concerns. Student should be directed to PCBT website for understanding of courses they are applying for. Applicants may learn more about PCBT materials from:

- PASSPORT:
- Certified copy of Passport (minimum age at the time of course commencement is 18. Under-18-year-student may apply earlier to commence the course when they reach 18 years of old).
- ACADEMIC:
- Certified copy of High school certificate or higher tertiary qualification or one from here https://pcbt.wa.edu.au/admission-requirements/
Note: All documents must be certified by your agent or a Justice of the Peace or a Notary Public if applying for your Student Visa (Offshore and Onshore students).
