Credit Transfer (CT) and/or Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL)
Credit Transfer (CT)
If you have previously studied at another Registered Training Organisation in Australia, you may be eligible to transfer your credit form a nationally-recognised qualification such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, you may be eligible to apply for Credit Transfer (CT) and/or Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL) at PCBT.
To be considered for credit transfers (national recognition), you must complete the PCBT Application Form for Credit Transfer and attach all relevant statements of attainment. You must allow ten working days for your application for credit transfer to be processed. You will be received an Offer letter stating fees.
Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL)
If you have previously studied at another Registered Training Organisation in Australia or Overseas*, you may be eligible to apply for Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL) at PCBT.
To be considered for RPL, you must complete the PCBT Application Form for Credit Transfer and attach all relevant Statements of Attainment or Transcripts of Results, Syllabus Outlines from your college or university. You must allow ten working days for your application for RPL to be processed for an initial assessment. You will receive an Offer Letter stating fees and conditions.
NO RPL IS AVAILABLE AT PCBT THROUGH WORK EXPERIENCE.
* Qualifications from overseas are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Once you are enrolled or requested for credit Transfer at the time of your application for enrolment, the following documents are asked for processing Credit Transfers:

1. Go to the above link
2. Login with your credentials on the website3. If you do not have your login details, go ahead with “Forgot password” option and reset your login details4. After resetting your login details (if required) download you transcript from “View Transcript” option available after you successfully login to the website.
4. Student applying for CT should agree to attend all the classes until his/her CT process is approved and a new Timetable (Individual Education Plan) to be provided to student.
