Shantha has over 30 years’ experience supporting students from multi-cultural backgrounds in Educational Institutions in the UK, Singapore, Melbourne, and Perth. She has helped students to deal with time and anger management, family issues, exam anxiety, body image, addiction, relationships, depression and other related issues. Shantha provides personal counselling assistance and support to students, which is free and confidential. She has also completed her Postgraduate study at the University of Western Australia Business School and worked as a Training and Development Officer for Amnesty International. She is always ready to listen to her students and assist in any way with their study. Chloe is a member of English Australia, the national peak body for the English language sector of international education in Australia.

Fiona began her career in the corporate industry, working with two public listed corporations in Singapore for over 17 years. This provided her with valuable practical and hands-on experiences in the industry. Fiona then commenced a career in teaching graduate and undergraduate International Students and has been enjoying this role for over 11 years. Fiona is passionate and enthusiastic in her teaching role and encourages creativity in her classes to enhance and improve learning and academic success. Fiona is patient and understanding, ensuring that she addresses the needs and abilities of all students, encouraging each student to reach their full potential. She exercises empathy in her daily role both at work and socially. Fiona’s qualifications include: Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration (CeMBA) and a Bachelor in Business, Accounting from Monash University, Melbourne.

After being the business owner/manager of Café Mirko in Turin (Italy) for over 16 years, I decided to move to Western Australia, completing Diploma of Hospitality Management at Challenger TAFE (Fremantle Campus). I have been Chef at Crown Perth for 8 years, working mostly in Atrium Restaurant Buffet, but also other venues such as The Merriwell, Banquets and Cold Larder at Crown Convention Centre, Poolside Restaurant at Metropol Crown. I completed my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2016. My passion for cooking and training brought me to Perth College of Business and Technology in late April 2018.
