Mr Ishtiaqh is a prominent businessman and an experienced RTO developer. He has a passion for helping people achieve their true potential. Ahmed has invested much of his life and resources into providing opportunities for people to achieve a better standard of living. Ahmed is proud of his investment and development of PCBT and has a vision to see it grow and become one of the colleges in Perth and Australia known for its continuous quality improvement and standards of excellence.

Lauren has been working in Vocational Education and Training for nearly ten years as a trainer, mentor, consultant and various executive roles. Passionate about development of staff and students, Lauren works as PEO and remains an active consultant and speaker for in the VET community working with a range of industry organisations and speaking at conferences, events and webinars on staff development, engagement and promoting the quality of the VET industry. Lauren is thrilled to be working with PCBT to continue to develop the quality of training and service delivery. Lauren holds several degrees in Education, Arts and Psychology as well as a range of business and Training and Education (TAE) qualifications.

Ryan is a results-driven manager with a successful background in the achievement of profitable business growth through the creation and execution of successful sales and marketing strategies. Experienced in working in the service to entrepreneurs, investors, skilled migrants and international students with the primary focus on exceeding expectations for customer service. Ryan has 6 years experience in international recruitment and 4 years local. Ryan's knowledge and experience in RTOs and education industry helped businesses to achieve the successful growth and to develop the operation through Standards and legislation. Ryan holds a Master of Business Administration major in Multimedia Marketing graduated with a quantitative research project.

Faisal is highly knowledgeable in his primary field i.e. software and hardware Information Technology, as well as skilled Student Support Specialist, has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and advise students on their paths to certificates completion. He possesses excellent guidance and auditing of certificate completion requirements. He has a Post graduate’s Degree in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and a Bachelor’s degree in MIS (Management Information System) with more than twenty years of Information Technology and two years of Student Support Specialist experience at the college level.

Transforming my skills from Electronics field from my Bachelors to blend it with the skills of IT industry from my Masters, has made me a valuable individual who is actively working for PCBT as IT/Student Support Officer. I am highly adaptable and quick grasper which can be revealed from the excellence in studies even after switching my field from Electronics to IT. Blend of EC & IT skills in me are the best energy drinks for new start-ups or new project in an organization. Apart from the technical aspects, I do perform well in management aspects, leadership skills and IT Support; which can be revealed from my work at PCBT.

Shantha has over 30 years’ experience supporting students from multi-cultural backgrounds in Educational Institutions in the UK, Singapore, Melbourne, and Perth. She has helped students to deal with time and anger management, family issues, exam anxiety, body image, addiction, relationships, depression and other related issues. Shantha provides personal counselling assistance and support to students, which is free and confidential. Please feel free to drop by the Counsellors' Office, however if unattended, you may email her for an appointment. I completed my formal 3-year culinary traineeship in South Africa in 2005 at the International Hotel School in Durban, South Africa. There I completed:
  • City & Guilds Certificate & Diploma in Food Preparation & Cooking (Culinary Arts)
  • National Qualifications professional cookery level 4
I have worked extensively in the UK for 2 years and South Africa 6 years after the UK. I have worked in many hotels, restaurants, catering/functions, hospitals and cafes such as The Hilton, The Pan Pacific, Alexander House hotel, Print Hall, etc. I have completed my Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and re-did my qualifications to line up with Australian standards:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery SIT30816, Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery SIT30816, Diploma in Commercial Cookery SIT30816
I am busy working on my Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety. I believe with my vast experience I have a lot to offer the students.

Jim has more than 20 years of middle and senior management experience in corporate life and the education sector. He most recently has served as the National Training Manager of Century Yuasa Corporation, and also held State Manager/Training Manager positions with multi-national corporations such as Serco and Sky News, and Operations/Compliance Manager roles with companies such as Ashley and MSS. Jim has four Masters majors in HR(UWA), Marketing, Business Administration and Management, and also has completed his coursework in Ph.D. in Organizational Behaviour. He also holds various degrees in Training and Assessment, WHS, Project Management, Operational Safety, Government studies, Frontline Management, Advanced First Aid, Telecommunications and Training Design.

Michael, has been working in Painting Industry for nearly 32 years as a trainer, tradesperson, and manager in various roles such as painting applications, painting manufacturing, and painting sales. Michael is a qualified Trainer for Painting & Decorating Course with relevant qualifications. In addition, he holds current Certificate in TAE, Occupational Health and Safety and more. Michael has a colorful life when doing Ballroom Dancing, Golfing, and Fishing in his spare time.

After being the business owner/manager of Café Mirko in Turin (Italy) for over 16 years, I decided to move to Western Australia, completing Diploma of Hospitality Management at Challenger TAFE (Fremantle Campus). I have been Chef at Crown Perth for 8 years, working mostly in Atrium Restaurant Buffet, but also other venues such as The Merriwell, Banquets and Cold Larder at Crown Convention Centre, Poolside Restaurant at Metropol Crown. I completed my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2016. My passion for cooking and training brought me to Perth College of Business and Technology in late April 2018.

After graduating from LiverpoolJohn Moores University, Nicola embarked on her journey of language discovery. She previously taught in Japan and Thailand before settling in Australia and becoming PCBTs ELICOS teacher. Nicola has a passion for language and strives to help her students achieve their full potential. 


Trainer & Assessor (e:
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Patrick had a successful career in senior business management, where he gained skills and experience in IT, Human Resources and marketing/sales management. A highly qualified and experienced Trainer Facilitator with a focus on Leadership, Management, Business, Selling and Training Skills, Patrick has been involved in numerous national training implementations, specialist overseas assignments and training assessing in the RTO VET sector. He holds a Grad Diploma in Education (Training & Development), a Cert IV Training & Assessment, Diplomas of Leadership, Management and Business and a Degree in Chartered Accountancy.  He is a practicing Life Coach and a Master Practitioner and Coach Neuro Linguistic Programming

A qualified TESOL teacher, holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree from Australia. She has taught English in Brunei & Pakistan before settling in Australia. Her passion for teaching and learning help her students achieve their language goals.
